The EU trademark registration includes 28 member states: France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Finland, Sweden, Cyprus, Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, Malta, Slovakia Republic, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia and other EU countries to implement an EU 28 countries in all the applicable trademark system.
1 ) The EU trademark registration has the following features :     
( 1 ) The EU trademark registration costs low. Apply for registration only once, in the entire twenty-eight members of the EU  use the trademark. If member states were to apply , each country would probably around 10,000 yuan , a single national registration fee is too high, the EU significantly reduce the cost of registration ;    
 ( 2 ) centralized EU trademark protection program . Obtain a trademark registration to protect the EU 28 member states , the decision of trademark cases will be implemented in all EU countries ;    
 ( 3 ) registered trademarks may only be used in an EU country . Trademark in any country of the EU is enough to fight to not use the trademark on the grounds for the rescission of the application;    
 ( 4 ) The right of the Paris Convention priority. One or more of the same mark for goods or services specified name , after six months that member of the Paris Convention apply for the Community trademark , may have priority ;    
 ( 5 ) Have announced a registered trademark in the EU Member States, at the time of application for EU trade mark ,may request priority.   
  ( 6 ) not only words trademarks , logos and other registered trademarks obtain new , sound, smell , appearance and structure, etc. , can also be registered   
  ( 7 ) Since the 28 member states use different languages, the meaning or pronunciation of the mark may cause similar, while 28 member states as long as one member raises objection, and objections is established , will cause the entire Community trademark registration was rejected .
2) The EU trademark registration  need application materials
The applicant  provide the following materials:
       (1)The applicant main qualification documents(Individual:ID / Passport)(Corporate/ unit:a copy of thebusiness license)
       (2)the applicant's name, address(bilingual);
       (3)a clear trademark standard;
       (4)specified international classification of goods/services,use of goods/services inventory and other information;
       The EU trademark application process:
       The notice of Accepting is about five working days,the approval of is about six months.
      Valid Period is ten years, by the twenty -eight member states to protect.
