1.How to apply for patent
Apply for patent shall submit the necessary application documents,and shall pay the cost.Patent application must be in paper form or electronic application form processing.Cannot explain verbally or provide samples or models approach,instead of paper or electronic application documents.Various procedures required documents should be signed,the name or signature of the request should be filled with exactly the same.Signature may not be copied.Procedures involving the transfer of rights, there should be a signature of all applicants,other procedures can be handled by the signature of the applicant's representative,appointed a patent agency,the signature should be handled by the patent agency.
Formalities should be accompanied by supporting documents or attachments,documents and attachments should use the original or a copy,must not use copy.If only one of the originals,you can use the copy, but need a notary public with a consistent copy of the original proof issued.
2.How to arrange the application documents at the time of filing
Invention or utility model patent application documents shall be in the following order:request,abstract,abstractdrawings,claims,specification, drawings.Design patent application documents shall bein accordance with the request, drawings or photographs,a brief description of order.Each part of the application documents shall be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals, respectively.
3.Paper documentation requirements of applying
Quality of the paper should be equivalent to the quality of the application documents copier paper.Have not paper with text, symbols,frame lines.Various documents all use A4 size(210 mm× 297mm)paper.
Vertical paper application documents should be used.Text should be arranged from left to right,left and top sheet 25 mm should be left blank for each, right and bottom should leave15 mm each blank to use at the time of publication and review.Each part of the application documents must use the first page of the State Intellectual Property Office to develop a unified form.These tables can beat the Patent Office in the lobby of the consultation request,the Patent Office may also be obtained from the agency or directly downloaded from all over the State Intellectual Property Office website
4.Text and writing requirements of the application documents
Always use the various parts of the application documents characters.Foreign name and scientific terms such as no unified Chinese translation,the original shall b indicated in parentheses after the Chinese translation.Accessories provided by the applicant or proven to be a foreign language,shall be accompanied by Chinese translation,application documents (including the request included)should be typed or printed using Times New Roman,italics, or italics,black writing, character height should be 3.5 to 4.5mm between   spacing should be between 2.5 to 3.5 mm.Required to submit duplicate files,one of which is the original and the other copy shall be used, and to ensure consistency between the two documents.There are pictures of the application documents shall be drawn with ink and drawing tools,or use graphics software to draw.lines should be clear and uniform,shall not be altered.Shall not be used blueprint
5.requirement of unity of the contents of patent applications
A new patent for invention or utility model application shall be limited to one invention or utility model.Belonging to a single general inventive concept of two or more inventions or utility models,can be used as an application is made.A design patent application shall be limited to one design.Products similar to the appearance o ftwo or more of the same design,or for the same class and sets the sale or use of the product of two or more designs can be filed as one application
6.Filling and writing of application documents

7.Acception of Patent applications
After the Patent Office or the agency receives each patent applications, to meet the conditions of admissibility of the application,will determine the filing date, give application number. to issue notice of acceptance.The applicant personally Patent Office or agencies of the application documents,if the number of ten or less,then be whether the application meets the conditions of admissibility of the review, in line with the conditions of admissibility of the notice of acceptance made on the spot.
8.Notice of Acceptance
Submit a written application to the Patent Office of the documents, usually in about a month to receive the State Intellectual Property Office(hereinafter referred to as the Patent Office)of the notice of acceptance,does not meet the acceptance criteria,will receive notice of, and be entertained refundable application file copy.Over a month has not yet received notification of the Patent Office, the applicant shall promptly report to the Patent Office of the inquiry, and found the application documents may be lost or notice in the mailin.
